About Dr. Bharwani
Clinical Biography
Sulaiman Bharwani, M.D., is the new addition to the Section of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas. His journey as a medical student started in 1983 at University of Karachi-Dow Medical College. From 1990 to 1991, he served as a house officer at Civil Hospital Karachi in Pakistan. Dr. Bharwani continued at University of Toronto, Hospital for Sick Children and University of Chicago Hospitals as a pediatric resident. He completed a fellowship for gastroenterology at Brown in 1998 and that for tutrition at University of Toronto, Hospital for Sick Children in 1999.
Dr. Bharwani’s accomplishments include numerous awards, honors, and titles. He successfully combines his primary role as an excellent inpatient and outpatient physician with consulting on multiple state programs internationally. He contributed to medicine by researching, printing articles, book chapters and public education through private lectures and mass interviews on TV.
A professor of pediatrics, he will share his wisdom and see patients at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Jonesboro.
