Clinical Biography
Dr. Sindhu Malapati is an assistant professor of medicine of the Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She graduated with her medical degree from Goa Medical College, India. She completed her internal medicine residency from John H Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Chicago and her hematology and oncology fellowship from Ascension St. John Hospital, Detroit. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and the European Society of Medical Oncology.

Her area of interest is the care of women with breast cancer, supportive oncology and symptom control.

My pleomorphic brain invasive lobular cancer is rare and the doctor has to review my bones and medications plus weigh cancer. Hard case for her and she is respectful of my concerns and looked at 2nd md Anderson as we move forward

Dr. Malapati is extremely knowledgeable of all aspects of my treatment and I feel very comfortable discussing any problem with her. She is extremely dedicated to giving the best treatment to her patients. Ashe has always been patient and I've never felt rushed. Anytime I've contacted her on the portal I get a response withon a very short time.

Dr. Malapati Is extremely thorough. She is very easy to understand and if I need something repeated to explain, she does an excellent job of that!She involves me in my chair every step of the way. I have been at Vanderbilt, New York and Germany for cancer care and she is absolutely beyond comparison.
