Her clinical focus includes evaluation and management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), chronic constipation, gastroparesis, dysphagia, celiac disease, esophageal motility, achalasia, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) and other common gastrointestinal disorders. She also provides follow-up care for patients undergoing diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy and colonoscopy, ensuring patients clearly understand their results and next steps

Shannon believes digestive symptoms can significantly impact quality of life. She prioritizes listening carefully to each patient’s concerns, identifying root causes, and developing individualized treatment plans that are both effective and realistic. She emphasizes patient education so individuals feel confident and informed about their diagnosis, medications, dietary adjustments, and lifestyle modifications.
