Dr. Sarah Harrington is a Professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in the Department of Internal Medicine, the Director of the Division of Palliative Medicine, and the Medical Director of the UAMS Palliative Care Program. Dr. Harrington specializes in palliative care at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, UAMS Medical Center, and Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. After receiving her medical degree from UAMS, Dr. Harrington completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, VA. She has practiced at UAMS and CAVHS since 2008.

I have a doctor, Harrington, and her nurses and social workers, they've been very, very, very heartwarming and good to me and helped me with my pain for seven years and I couldn't ask for a better doctor than her. I care about her so much and she cared about me and on one of the numbers I pushed the one accidentally and I meant to push a four so you'll know it's one to have the one. But Dr. Harrington and her nurses and social workers at UAMS helped save my life from me, hurting from pain real bad. So I care and love y'all so much for helping me and helping me live and keeping me from hurting so bad. I thank you so much. May God bless you and help others. My visits there all the time is wonderful, great. The nurses are great, my doctor's great. They listen to everything that I say and make sure that I'm not hurting. And everything's wonderful. I couldn't ask for a better doctor or the better doctor's hospital. And UAMS Dr. Harrington's the most wonderful doctor out of all my 14 doctors, she's one of my favorite best doctors. That she cared for me when I was almost, at my deathbed and anyhow, thank you so much. God bless, have a good day. Bye bye. I would recommend her to anybody, any family member. Thank you.
