My original appointment was for [TIME]. I arrived after driving over 100 miles to be told my appointment had been canceled and no one knew why. I was tired and not feeling well, my arm was swollen and hurting from a fistula that had been inserted almost 3 weeks ago. After explaining all of this, a call was made and they agreed to let me see the doctor. I had a letter showing my appointment was correct but someone had canceled. I hope this doesn't happen again. I have 2 appointments there on [DATE]

This was my last follow up after donating a kidney 2 years ago. UAMS has been a big part of my life the past two years starting with the evaluation, and then surgery and follow ups. The whole process from start to finish has been a wonderful experience for me and my family (I donated to my brother). I will always have sentimental feelings for UAMS because of my excellent experience with the renal transplant clinic - doctors, nurses and staff.
