About Dr. Paydak
Clinical Biography
Hakan Paydak, M.D., is professor of medicine and director of cardiac electrophysiology program and laboratory at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara, Turkey, and trained in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Case Western Reserve University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, and University of Chicago Hospital in Illinois.
Prior to joining UAMS faculty in 2009, Dr. Paydak was on staff at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Paydak is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a member of Cardiac Electrophysiology Society, American College of Physicians and the American Society of Internal Medicine.

My husband and I were very pleased with Dr Paydek. I wish every time I've visited a medical professional at UAMS, I had the same experience that I had with Dr Paydek. Not only was his bedside manner exemplary; he was knowledgeable about what I'm going through. It would be great if Dr Paydek could train all the student doctors at UAMS. He made it clear that I will be heard by him.
