About Dr. Yancey-Ward
Brooke Yancey-Ward, Psy.D., is a pediatric psychologist and an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. She completed her graduate training at the University of Indianapolis and her pediatric psychology fellowship at Arkansas Children’s Hospital/UAMS. She returned as faculty in 2022 and currently sees patients in several Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s outpatient clinics including COACH, the Cardiovascular Neurodevelopmental Follow-Up Clinic, and the High-Risk Newborn Clinic. In addition, she conducts traditional therapy at the Dennis Developmental Center and specializes in Pediatric Feeding Disorders for infants, children, and adolescents.
Dr. Yancey-Ward has always had a love for working with children and adolescents and providing a warm, caring environment each time they come to the hospital or hospital-affiliated clinic. Dr. Yancey-Ward’s philosophy of care focuses on empirically supported interventions and implementing the most recent research findings into her daily practice. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends, and her dog, Ellie, spending time outdoors, and watching Romantic-Comedies!
