About Dr. Sachleben

Clinical Biography

Dr. Brant Sachleben is a Sports Medicine and Pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) and at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in the College of Medicine at UAMS.

He specializes in the treatment and prevention of injuries in the growing and adolescent athlete including ACL tears in athletes with open and closed growth plates, shoulder injuries as well as hip arthroscopy. He also sees young adult sports injuries and general pediatric orthopedic conditions.

Dr. Sachleben graduated suma cum laude from the University of Kentucky in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Sachleben graduated with high honors from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 2007. After completing his orthopaedic residency at UAMS in 2012, he completed a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario, followed by a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Boston in Boston, Mass.
