The doctor could have explained to me did I need to continue eye drops or just am I going to have dry eyes from now or something but I feel like he should have explained a little more to me about the care of my eye as I go forward

Dr. Sallam has been an amazing medical partner to me. He came randomly into my life when he was on call when I had a detached retina following my hip replacement. I was terrified, and he saved my sight. Everything proceeded as he described it would, and he took care of the subsequent cataract surgery a couple of years later. Our sight is critical to us. Dr. Sallam allowed me to ask questions, provide input, and did everything he could to answer ALL my questions and allay my fears. He is an excellent medical partner to his patients. I feel very fortunate to be in his care.

Even though my vision was 20/30, I still have a hard time reading with my glasses on. I cannot read a newspaper. Do I need to be referred to a low vision specialist?
