Look for your color. When you need to focus, start by looking for your favorite color. I use green. I look around the room and try to find all the green things. Your turn. Think of your own calm color. Imagine it in your head clearly. Then, look around the room. Look for all the objects that you see that are your calm color. Or, pick on one specific thing that is special to you. With your eyes closed or open, see that color in your mind. Focus on the feeling of calm connected to it. Breathe deeply. Feel that calm in your feet and hands. Let it move up your legs and arms. Let it move into your belly and chest. Feel it move up your neck to the top of your head. When you’re filled with colorful calm, you re ready to focus on other things.
