What brought me to UAMS Health was a breast reduction. The treatment and care that I got from UAMS health and Dr. Sterling’s office and his nurses and team was beyond what I expected. He advocated for me in the best way possible. I’ve had back pain since high school. Dance team is really what had brought it on and then as I got older it had got worse. My shoulders, the slouching because you’re carrying on so much weight and so when I brought that
all to the attention of Dr. Sterling and I was letting him know I’ve been to physical therapy, chiropractor and it minimizes the pain but it doesn’t take it away and so when I let him know what issues I was having I was like is my insurance going to cover this but I also understood I was to the point where this is something I don’t mind what the cost is because I want to go ahead and get it taken care of because I’m tired of being in pain and so he was like well I see you are visibly in pain. He said if your insurance declines I’m going to fight for you because I’ve seen your x-rays. I’ve seen everything that you’re talking about and you’ve taken every step possible. My overall quality of care at UAMS Health was great from start to finish. They were hands on even after calling to check on me and things
like that. As soon as I came out of surgery and my support system asked me, oh how do you feel I said my shoulders don’t feel heavy my back doesn’t hurt anymore and I have not had issues ever since I have the surgery and I will always recommend if you’re are ready, go for it.
