Description
Clinical trials play a vital role in advancing treatment for all cancers—but they are especially important for gynecologic cancers, which are considered rare because they affect fewer women than many other cancer types. In this video, Dr. Heather Williams explain how clinical trials help researchers better understand new medications, expand treatment options, and improve outcomes. Participation in a clinical trial can offer patients a better quality of life and, in many cases, longer survival.
