Also called: Tummy Tuck
Aging, weight changes, and pregnancy can have a major impact on the appearance and tone of the torso. The goal of abdominoplasty surgery, or tummy tuck, is to restore contour to the abdomen. This is done by removing excess skin, tightening the abdominal wall (diastasis repair), and repositioning the belly button (umbilicus). This surgery is often performed in combination with liposuction to help remove excess fat and to better sculpt the trunk.
