Medical Simulation is the modern day methodology for training healthcare professionals through the use of advanced educational technology. Medical simulation is the experiential learning every healthcare professional will need, but cannot always engage in during real-life patient care. Through these programs, we allow students, residents, and fellows to perform assessments and practice their clinical skills in a safe environment while receiving feedback about their encounters.
The Centers for Simulation Education allow UAMS to expand existing programs, launch new instructional techniques, and promote quality instruction with the goal of training competent and compassionate professionals.
