Mary James, O.D., graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. She has completed an internship at The Eye Center at Southern College of Optometry and an externship at Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.
She has been extensively involved in medical outreach as a volunteer with local community organizations providing eye care assistance for those in need and other organizations providing aid in Central America.

The doctor made sure my prescription was right. She did everything she was supposed to do and listen to me very well Gave me the right prescription that I needed for my eyes. She was very kind considerate and I really really liked her. I would recommend her to anyone and I would really recommend Jones eye Institute to.
