About Dr. Agesilas
Clinical Biography
Marielie “Heidi” Agesilas, M.D., is a member of the UAMS Family Medicine Residency Program’s Class of 2014. Originally from Puerto Rico, Agesilas joined the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus faculty upon graduation from our program and has been a staple on our team ever since.
Agesilas plays the violin and the viola. She enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, arts and crafts, investing time reading good books, listening to thriller audiobooks, autobiographies and podcasts. She is bilingual and has basic knowledge of French. She has also traveled extensively.

I was in search of PCP, lost mine to VA. After 40 years In healthcare/surgery I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted in a Doctor. Resident asked a few questions about medical history, had records from previous UAMS providers, deleted old meds, added one. He listened to my Lungs and Heart. He asked me what was the reason for my visit. That's it, no assessment, no palpation, no ENT. Did not lay hands on. The Attending introduced herself but , that was about it. Sad. Im still looking for Doctor obviously, I don't think it will be @ this UAMS Clinic.
