About Dr. Murray
Clinical Biography
Dr. Liza C. Murray joined the UAMS Department of Pediatrics in 2018 as a child abuse pediatrician on the Team for Children at Risk.
Dr. Murray has a particular interest in occult injury screening, reduction of bias in the identification of abuse and providing improved education for medical and non-medical personnel about child abuse.

Academic Biography
Dr. Liza C. Murray attended medical school at UAMS and completed her pediatric residency at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in 2011. After residency, Dr. Murray spent one year as a pediatric chief resident before going on to finish a three-year child abuse fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Dr. Murray is board-certified in general pediatrics and board-eligible for child abuse pediatrics.
