I felt like I had to be one asking questions instead of having the audiologist explains things and give options. Hearing aids were recommended, but there was very little discussion about options, types, costs, how it would effect my daily routine, etc.

I explained that after a car wreck and my neck was fractured I started having a low pitch humming in my ears and two other doctors said it was pressure from fracture against the spinal cord and audiologist's did a hearing test which I passed and the concurred with the other doctors as to why I am hearing that noise was from fracture pressing against spinal cord cord.

Dr. Ross is an excellent communicator and gave me ample time to discuss my situation. She is very knowledgeable about both my hearing aid and my cochlear implant. I enjoyed working with her on my situation and will continue to ask for her in the future.
