My wait time to see the MD was 2 hours because he was off work the week before and was double booked. After an hour I decided to find a nurse to get an update. There was not a single nurse at the station nor any to be found. Finally I found a nurse outside of the infectious disease department. She was the one that said he was behind and that I would be next. The exam room was so cold after an hour I opened the door. My nurse saw me twice with no update or explanation of what was taking so long. I eventually saw the MD. My appointment was at [TIME] and after lab I was finished at 2 1/2 hours later. I love Dr. Vyas but the staff was nearly invisible.

If I have to tell someone 4 times in less than 15 minutes that I choose to decline a COVID vaccination at this time, I can not think for a second I am being heard. I am highly uncomfortable about the idea. Having used fear tactics and what could be described as aggressive manipulation I am at a low for the confidence I have with Dr. Vyas. I respected him and listened to what he had to say. He displayed an open contempt for my decision or the reasoning for it. I resent having to spend as much time defending my decision about COVID vaccination as I did waiting for him to show for the appointment. I got roughly 7 minutes of time. Long enough to be told blood work and we'll see. 1. I have a heart valve issue and a murmur. A well documented side effect is heart enlargement in males. 2. All current vaccines lack FDA approval as human trials are ongoing. 3. Emergency authorization is not approval. 4. There is not sufficient data for me (ME) to make an informed decision. 5. What product has as many documented deaths after vaccination and has been allowed to remain on the market or available? I am not an idiot. I have survived for 34 years with AIDS. Long before Dr. Vyas came along. I have survived throat cancer, anal cancer and tongue cancer. I have a high confidence level in my decision making abilities. I was told I would be dead before I was 25. I was underestimated. I am almost 60.

The only thing i would like to bring up is the person drawing the blood seemed like they did not want to be at work. There was a lot of people needing assistance but understanding we were there for a reason.
