About Kathryn L. Speights
Clinical Biography
Kathryn “Katie” Speights, has been with UAMS dermatology since 2021, and prior to dermatology she specialized as a Primary and Urgent Care PA for 7 years in the central Arkansas area. Prior to the medical field, Katie was an Arkansas high school science teacher for 6 years. She enjoys helping patients with a range of dermatology concerns including screening for and treating skin cancers, sun damaged skin, acne, psoriasis, and eczema. Outside of dermatology, Katie enjoys art and music, spending time with her children and family, reading, and the Arkansas outdoors.

Very competent and caring nurse and doctor /PA staff. Made sure pain relief (for small biopsy) was MORE than adequate.
