My appointment on 9-11-2024 was a last follow up visit, for a three-year engagement with the radiology department. From my first check-in experience, through Dr., nursing staff, triage staff, nutritionist, and of course, the technicians that provided me with 25 treatments, has been an exceptional experience. They made a very tough life event so much more palatable, by all of their tender mercies. Top shelf care! I can't imagine there being a more cohesive, and compassionate group to be found anywhere. Finally, I must mention a special note of gratitude and appreciation to nurse Kaitlyn Shepherd, the nurse practitioner who monitored me during the last year and a half of my observational care. I found her to be thorough, and genuine, demonstrating that unique quality that makes one feel that they are the most important patient on her docket. I have now been released from the radiology department, and humbly extend my deepest gratitude to the entire family at UAMS Radiology! A long, and rich life to us all! The provider(s) and patient experience was positive. It would have been helpful to be notified that the office had been physically moved. After going to wrong location and reading message on door, we did make the appointment at new location on time, but it was a surprise and slightly inconvenient...and yes we should have read the location on the statement, but since we had been there on numerous occasions we assumed we were at the right place...just a "heads up" to notify other who only come for follow up visits.

Your people at UAMS are fabulous. I'd recommend them to anybody. Everybody's been polite. And Caitlin is the best. She's been nothing but nice to us. And everybody's been cordial. And Caitlin is the [EXPLETIVE]. I got eight doctors going right now in different, in [CITY}. And she's my favorite. And all your people there do excellent work.

I didn't get any answers other than, well, it's probably from the radiation. I did not know until I researched myself that the pain that I've been having can be there up to two years or longer after you have the radiation. And I don't feel like that I have been informed of what to do or what I could possibly do to alleviate the pain, and exactly if it's chest, bowel pain, or what it is. Period.
