Kasa B. Cooper, M.D., is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon and traumatologist at UAMS Health, who provides comprehensive orthopaedic care as part of the multispecialty trauma services available at Arkansas’ only Level 1 Trauma Center. The service emphasizes early stabilization of fractures and offers specialized surgical techniques, which include closed intramedullary fixation, combinations of internal and external fixation, and complex fracture treatment of the pelvis, acetabulum and extremities.
Dr. Cooper sees patients in the UAMS Health Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital’s Trauma Specialty Clinic and performs procedures at UAMS Medical Center and the UAMS Health Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital.

Dr. Kasa B. Cooper earned her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She then completed her orthopedic surgery residency at UAMS, followed by an orthopedic trauma fellowship at the University of Kentucky’s College of Medicine.
Dr. Cooper is an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
