Academic Biography
After earning his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Sunde served both his internship and residency at UAMS. He was fellowship trained in head and neck oncologic and microvascular surgery at the University of Michigan. Prior to returning to UAMS, he served as an assistant professor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Dr. Sunde has great people skills, very easy to talk with, explains what to expect, and answers all your questions. He is very interested in his patients progress, and gives great instructions on the care of the wounds. He puts us at ease just knowing what is normal in the healing process. He is very well trained in his medical skills.
