Jordan Walters, M.D., is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in diagnosing and treating a broad range of spine conditions, including traumatic and degenerative conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, spinal deformity, and tumors. As a specialist in spine surgery, Dr. Walters’ medical interests include degenerative disorders of the spine. He also has a special interest in medical mission trips and has traveled with teams to India and Lebanon to provide healthcare training and medical care services.

Academic Biography
Dr. Walters received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), graduating with a 4.0 grade point average and completing the UAMS College of Medicine Honors in Research Program. He also became a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
After medical school, Dr. Walters completed his residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at UAMS, receiving the Resident Teaching Award, an honor given annually to a resident who has demonstrated excellent teaching skills and a commitment to orthopedic surgery education. Following his five-year residency training, Dr. Walters completed the Integrated Spine Surgery Fellowship program at UAMS in 2022.
