About J. L. "Jenn" Boyd

Jennifer L. Boyd joined UAMS as a nurse practitioner in 2022. She is a board-certified Adult Gerontology/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGAC-NP) by the American Association of Nurse Credentialing (AANC). She has a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University in Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She has experience as an APRN in Cancer Urgent Care, Cancer Genetics, and Lung Cancer Screening with low dose CT. She has twenty years of nursing experience in pediatric critical care, adult critical care, and adult med/surg settings. She is a member of the ANCC and the Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association. Jennfier is passionate about teaching and utilizing a preventative, holistic approach with her patients, providing them with the tools and knowledge to manage their health more effectively.
