About Janna J. Michael
Clinical Biography
Janna Michael is a nurse practitioner in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Janna grew up in Helena, Arkansas. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2005. She then completed her Masters in Nursing at UAMS in 2010 and is a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She worked as a floor nurse before joining UAMS as an APRN in 2015. She works in the high risk OB clinic and also works alongside Dr. Luann Racher and Dr. Alexis White. She is a Centering Pregnancy Provider, provides prenatal care in the UAMS Teen Clinic and also provides care in the UAMS Gender Clinic. Janna and her husband Court have 3 children and live in Little Rock.

The front desk need to pay attention and do their job and check in patients, and learn better customer service skills, and not be so rude when you ask a question. I didn't have any issues while checking out, the lady was really nice and hep me make my apts.

I scheduled an appointment, attempting to schedule, with a specific doctor and it took several months before I could get an appointment. And then when I showed up, the doctor wasn't there and I was seen by the APN, which was very frustrating when I was attempting to schedule with a specific doctor. And it took so long to get the appointment and I was not even able to see the specific doctor. So that was the main issue with my appointment. But aside from that, no one seemed to know my medical history when they came in and talked to me either, which was also an issue. So, all right.

She's actually really well. I will actually rate her yes, definitely for most, but I misunderstood the survey at the beginning of the question. So the beginning of my survey is wrong because I was putting no instead of putting yes, but she's great. She answers questions amazingly. She answers my questions. We actually talk about the process of my transition and the things that they're going my level. And we actually work together to get me where I'm trying to go.
