Janna J. Michael, CNP Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

Clinical Biography

Janna Michael is a nurse practitioner in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Janna grew up in Helena, Arkansas. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2005. She then completed her Masters in Nursing at UAMS in 2010 and is a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She worked as a floor nurse before joining UAMS as an APRN in 2015. She works in the high risk OB clinic and also works alongside Dr. Luann Racher and Dr. Alexis White.  She is a Centering Pregnancy Provider, provides prenatal care in the UAMS Teen Clinic and also provides care in the UAMS Gender Clinic. Janna and her husband Court have 3 children and live in Little Rock.
