About Blakely M. Moore
Clinical Biography
Blakely M. Moore, MNSc, APRN, FNP-C, is a Certified Nurse Practitioner at the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. She works alongside head and neck cancer surgeons Dr. Maurico Moreno, Dr. Emre Vural, and Dr. Jumin Sunde and currently sees patients in the UAMS Health Head and Neck Oncology Survivorship Clinic.
Blakely grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas. After seeing the positive impact her mother made on patients’ lives as a nurse, Blakely was inspired to pursue a career in nursing.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2011 and began her career as an inpatient registered nurse at the UAMS Medical Center on a medical-surgical specialty unit.
Blakely completed her Master of Nursing Science in 2016 and became board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
In 2017, she transitioned from working as an inpatient RN to an APRN in the UAMS Breast Cancer Clinic, where she remained until July 2024. She joined the UAMS Health Head and Neck Oncology Clinic in July 2024 and now cares for patients in the Head and Neck Oncology Survivorship Clinic.
