About Dr. Simmons
Clinical Biography
Dr. Larry Simmons is associate professor for the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is also clinical faculty and a founding member of the Arkansas Children’s Asthma Center at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.
Dr. Simmons received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School Of Medicine. He went on to complete a pediatric internship and residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital where he was chief resident his last year.
Dr. Simmons is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Central Arkansas Pediatric Society and Arkansas Medical Society. Dr. Simmons has been an invited speaker at numerous meetings on topics relating to asthma.
