Clinical Biography
Dr. Aydin’s clinical practice focuses on the surgical and multidisciplinary management of urologic cancers, including prostate, bladder, kidney, testis and penile cancers with an emphasis on minimally invasive surgery and robotics.

Academic Biography
Dr. Aydin is an Assistant Professor of Urology, and Director of the Urologic Oncology Clinic at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He also serves as Chair of the Genitourinary Disease Oriented Committee, and core member of Robotic Surgery Steering Committee at the UAMS.
Dr. Aydin, a native of Turkey, received an outstanding success scholarship after high school for being ranked among the nation’s top 100 students, and earned his medical degree with an honors distinction at Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. He completed his urology residency at the same university and became a fellow of European Board of Urology (FEBU) in 2018. He went on to complete a Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO)-accredited fellowship at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, Tampa, Florida, where he specialized in the management of urologic malignancies using both complex as well as minimally-invasive surgery.

Dr. Aydin's Research
His main research interests are cancer biomarkers, and adoptive cell immunotherapy. He has an active surgical practice as the only fellowship-trained urologic oncologist in the state of Arkansas since 2021, and he is principal investigator in several clinical trials at the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.
Dr. Aydin is a reviewer for numerous professional journals and is published in many prestigious peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO), American Urological Association (AUA), and European Association of Urology (EAU).”
