About COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic — 12th Street
The COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic is here to help protect Arkansans from the COVID-19 virus and vaccinate as many Arkansans as possible. We offer primarily the Pfizer vaccine. We may occasionally receive small allocations of Johnson & Johnson or Moderna vaccines from the Arkansas Department of Health and will offer these as available.
Appointment availability is limited by the amount of vaccine that we receive each week from the state. Please be patient. Appointment requests are answered in the order in which they are received.
Who Can Get a Vaccine at Our Clinic
First, you don’t have to be a UAMS patient to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at our clinic. We offer vaccinations by appointment only. Please see the appointment details below for instructions and information about what to bring to your appointment.
To receive a vaccination, you must be an Arkansan who meets the requirements in the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) vaccination plan. This plan is changing regularly, so ADH has the most up-to-date information about the current phase.
We are working closely with the Arkansas Department of Health and will offer COVID-19 vaccines to additional groups as vaccine supplies increase.
Second Dose Information
To make sure that each patient gets the required doses of the Pfizer vaccine, which is necessary for maximum protection, a second appointment will be scheduled for each patient when they receive their first dose.
Appointment Information
Vaccinations are given by appointment only. You must schedule an appointment before coming to the clinic. If you are a current patient, you may use your UAMS MyChart account to schedule an appointment.
