COVID-19 Update
Before Coming to UAMS
If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, think you may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or have tested positive for COVID-19, call the UAMS appointment center at (501) 686-8000 to reschedule your appointment. You may also ask if your appointment can be done by phone or video.

What to Expect at Your Appointment
UAMS has safety measures in place to protect our patients and employees. Everyone who comes to UAMS is required to wear a mask and pass a health screening before entering the building. You will also have your temperature taken. Please wear a clean mask to your clinic visit, and do not remove it until asked to do so by a UAMS employee.
Learn more about the safety measures we are taking.
Outpatient Visitor Guidelines
Patients must come to their visit alone. A friend or family member may come to an appointment only if the patient is under 18 or is not mentally or physically able to go to the appointment alone. You are welcome to include a friend or family member in your appointment by phone or video chat.
If you need a wheelchair from your car to your appointment, transport staff may be available at the main UAMS campus. Contact your clinic for more information.
Please visit our COVID-19 resources to learn more about what to expect at your appointment.
About Drive-Up Clinic — UAMS Northwest Campus
The Drive-up Clinic at UAMS Northwest Campus is for patients with respiratory symptoms.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some UAMS clinics are only seeing patients for wellness visits. Because of this, we have opened the Drive-up Clinic to serve patients with respiratory symptoms who wish to get medical care.
The Drive-Up Clinic is taking place at the old ER entrance on the North Street side of the building.
Telemedicine Visits
Chronically ill patients or sick patients without respiratory symptoms may be seen using telemedicine. To set up a telemedicine appointment, call your clinic’s scheduler or main phone number as you normally would and they will guide you through next steps.
