If you are in need of urgent or emergency care, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department at your local hospital.

If you are sick or have a minor injury and need to talk to someone right away, you can access UAMS HealthNow for a video visit with a UAMS Health provider 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., seven days a week.

About the Blood Draw Laboratory in the Cancer Institute

A procedure in which a needle is used to take blood from a vein, usually for laboratory testing. A blood draw may also be done to remove extra red blood cells from the blood, to treat certain blood disorders. Also called phlebotomy and venipuncture.

Parking Information

Parking is available in Parking 3, a parking deck at the corner of South Cedar Street and West Capitol Avenue. Parking stubs for patients are validated in the clinic. For your convenience, park on Levels 2B, 3B, 4B or 5B.

Valet parking is available in front of the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute for a fee.

Take the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute elevators in Parking 3 at Level 2B.
Exit the walkway on Level 2B of Parking 3 and you will be at the entrance to the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.
Enter the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute and the clinic will be on the right. You can also visit the Welcome Desk for assistance.

UAMS Health MyChart

UAMS Health MyChart is a free online patient portal that gives you secure, 24-hour access to your health information. You can view lab and test results, send messages to your doctor, make appointments, pre-register for visits, refill prescriptions, and pay your bills. New patients can also register for MyChart and schedule their first appointment at participating clinical locations using the same simple tool—making it easier than ever to get started with UAMS Health. Ask your provider or clinic staff to send you a sign-up link by email or text. Once you receive the link, you’ll have eight hours to sign up using just your name and date of birth.
