With well over tens of thousands of registries and hundreds of thousands of interpreting minutes since our inception in 2010, we at the UAMS Interpreter Program have not only become the go-to interpreter service for nearly 100 clinics and departments at UAMS Health, but we are now serving other health care facilities and clinics throughout the great state of Arkansas!

Certified Healthcare Interpreter Certification
Our team has been awarded the CHI certifications, which are the nation’s highest certifications available to health care interpreters and professionals in recognition of their qualifications.
Program Growth
The demand for the UAMS Interpreter Program continues to grow. In fact, over the past seven years, the program has experienced a 280% increase in the number of registries (calls and videos) that are taken per year.
