What inspired you to work in healthcare?
I was inspired to work in healthcare after being a patient myself for many years. I was diagnosed with Type I diabetes when I was 4 years old and was in and out of hospitals. I realized how interactions with providers made a huge impact in my life, and I wanted to give back and be part of that.
What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is meeting new people across the country when we go on procurements and watching a patient come off dialysis.
What do you like about working at UAMS?
The best part about UAMS is the people I get to work with.
