Welcome to UAMS South Family Medical Center, located in El Dorado, Arkansas, and serving a seven-county region. We provide family medicine services for patients of all ages, caring for both acute and chronic health needs, along with pregnancy and gynecological care. For many patients, convenience matters.
Our clinic offers telehealth, and we also provide in-house lab services. Our access to UAMS specialists allows us to offer cardiology clinic and telehealth consultations for endocrinology and nephrology. We even offer full-service HIV management. Our clinical pharmacist oversees the HIV clinic, working with our primary care providers and an infectious disease specialist from UAMS. This allows patients to access Ryan White program benefits.
Our care team includes excellent nurses, a nurse care manager, integrated behavioral health, cancer navigators, and a research coordinator.
As a teaching clinic, our care team includes experienced faculty who work alongside doctors in training, as well as other health professions learners, helping to strengthen the health care workforce for Arkansas. We will also have our first class of family medicine residents and our next surgical obstetrics fellow, soon expanding our role in training the next generation of physicians for our region.
