Women’s Mental Health Program: Who Do We Serve
Dr. Shona Ray-Griffith, M.D., talks about the kind of patients who are seen in the Women’s Mental Health Program’s outpatient clinic.
What We Offer
This comprehensive program includes both inpatient and outpatient services, providing vital mental health care to individuals from diverse backgrounds. In addition, Women’s Mental Health Program offers specialized treatment and support for individuals managing the challenges of alcohol and substance use alongside mental health concerns.
Women’s Mental Health Program provides a continuum of care that addresses the immediate needs of our patients and supports their long-term recovery and wellness. Each service is interconnected, enabling smooth transitions and collaborative treatment planning across all levels of care. Our Peer Support Specialist Service creates an environment that promotes healing, personal growth and lasting recovery.
Research is a big part of what we do. We are deeply committed to advancing mental health care through ongoing research initiatives that help us refine our services and improve patient outcomes.
In addition to exceptional patient care, we proudly serve as a singular destination where clinical services align with educational opportunities, including UAMS Reproductive Psychiatry Fellowship for physicians.
We are proud to now offer services of perinatal psychiatry in Northwest Arkansas through our Women’s Mental Health Clinic in Fayetteville.
