What Sets the Women’s Center Apart
High-Risk Pregnancy Care
The high-risk pregnancy program at the Women’s Center has more board-certified maternal-fetal specialist staff and more statewide coverage than any other program in Arkansas.
Genetic Disorders or Diseases
For cases complicated by congenital birth defects or genetic disease, refer to the Arkansas Fetal Diagnosis and Management Program for coordinated care for pregnancy and newborns.
Education and Counseling
The Center has genetic and nutritional counseling, behavioral health services, prenatal classes, and social workers who can help patients find the services they need.
Mental Health Care for Women
Our Women’s Mental Health Program supports pregnant or postpartum women with mental health or substance abuse issues or women who are having difficulty becoming pregnant.
Pregnancy in a Supportive Environment
CenteringPregnancy offers a way for patients to experience pregnancy with other women and have extra time with health care providers.
Specialty Care, All in One Place
Patients receive the specialty services they need all in one place. The UAMS Health Women’s Center also includes the UAMS Health Gender Clinic, which provides hormonal and surgical treatment to transgender and gender-nonconforming patients and the UAMS Vulvar Clinic for women with vulvar or vaginal disorders.
