Treatment/Procedure: Low Vision Occupational Therapy

Also called: Low Vision Therapy

If you have been diagnosed with low vision, UAMS can help you increase your independence and safety. It is possible for people with vision limitations to continue to live independent and meaningful lives with the assistance of an occupational therapist. Using our services, you can improve your reading and writing abilities, meal preparation skills and personal finance management.

A referral from your eye doctor or primary care physician is all that’s needed for an evaluation at UAMS. We will work closely with your doctor and create a therapy program designed specifically for your individual needs.
