Treatment/Procedure: Aortofemoral Bypass

Also called: Bi-femoral bypass surgery

Aortofemoral Bypass is a surgical procedure used to re-route blood flow around diseased or blocked arteries in the abdomen or groin. To bypass the blocked artery, blood is redirected through an artificial graft that is sewn around the diseased area.
