About Dr. Wang
Xiaofei Wang, M.D., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in Nuclear Medicine, Director of Clinical and Translational Research for the Imaging Service Line and the Director of the Quantitative Imaging Lab.
Dr. Wang is a well-rounded physician-scientist in nuclear medicine, molecular imaging and targeting therapies. He completed a nuclear medicine residency and fellowships in radiology and oncology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He has decades of experience in clinical trials, translational research and evidence based medicine.
His research focuses on quantitative analysis of functional molecular images to grade disease severity/intensity, assess responses of targeting therapies, and establish mathematical models to predict disease courses, mental status changes during disease course, interaction among tissues/organs and gene expression profiles.
