About Dr. Morris
Clinical Biography
Whit Morris, M.D., received his undergraduate training from Clemson University in South Carolina. He went on to complete medical school at the University of South Carolina and complete his residency training in neurosurgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Dr. Morris has completed subspecialty training in skull base and vascular surgery.
During his residency training, he received the Award for Excellence in Research. Dr. Morris has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as brain tumors, aneurysms, and their treatment. Additionally, Dr. Morris has contributed to several book chapters, under the direction of Dr. J.D. Day. Dr. Morris has several ongoing research projects, including acting as the Co-Primary Investigator for the Early Minimally-Invasive Removal of ICH (ENRICH) trial.
Dr. Morris’ interests include surgical treatment of benign and malignant brain tumors, aneurysms and vascular anomalies, and skull base surgery. Dr. Morris also treats patients with degenerative or traumatic spine conditions.
