Dr. Scott Lucchese specializes in headache medicine. His expertise and clinical interests include management of all types of headache and facial pain syndromes including: management of migraine, trigeminal neuralgia, cluster headache, facial and cervical dystonia, post-traumatic headaches, CSF pressure/volume derangements, secondary headaches, NDPH, etc. Dr. Lucchese treats patients in the Fifth Floor Clinic of the Jackson T. Stephens Spine & Neurosciences Institute.

Dr. Scott Lucchese is an associate professor in the Department of Neurology at UAMS. He is board certified by the Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and The United Counsel for Neurologic Subspecialties in Headache Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Headache Society.
Dr. Lucchese graduated from University of Missouri—Columbia School of Medicine in 2006. He then completed a Preliminary Internal Medicine followed and Neurology Residency Program at the University of Missouri—Columbia School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri.
Upon completion of training he joined the staffs at the Harry S. Truman Veterans Administration Medical Center and University of Missouri—Columbia School of Medicine.

He's brilliant, but moody and inconsistent. What good is his brilliance if you can't get a hold of him and his staff doesn't help. He needs a really solid, detail oriented, reliable staff who will follow through with all the boring stuff, but his staff is the worst I've ever dealt with and I have dealt with A LOT.

Dr Lucchese is a great and caring doctor. I have gotten care with three different doctors at UAMS over the past five years and the doctors are great but staff and communication through them is horrible.

Dr Lucchese is exceptional in every way. This is my 2nd visit. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, informative, proactive, caring, knows his field as well as other medical areas, engaging, good communication. We like him a lot.
