The experience with UAMS and all the professionals was very good. The results of the treatments and recovery from the stroke was much better than expected. Would like to be there in any medical situation. The care received from the doctors and nurses and staff was excellent.

The IR told me he didn't think I had IIH but didn't offer any other theories as to what I had. He evaluated me for a stent. I was not a candidate, which is fine. I was there for this evaluation. So I don't know why he would say I didn't have it without being prepared to offer a different diagnosis. I've had different doctors at UAMS diagnose me and undiagnose me. They do not agree. It's incredibly frustrating. It makes me distrust doctors, especially specialists, and distrust UAMS.
