Robert Lavender, M.D., is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine. He received his Bachelor or Arts from Hendrix College in Conway, Ark., and his Medical Doctor from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He completed his residency training at UAMS in internal medicine, serving an additional year as Chief Resident. Dr. Lavender is certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
