Dr. Matthew Malone currently works as a pediatric intensivist and sedation provider. His medical interests include ECMO, graduate medical education, bioethics, interprofessional education through high-fidelity simulation, renal replacement therapies, cardiopulmonary interactions, clinical research, and quality/processes improvement metrics.

Dr. Matthew Malone is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at UAMS and practices at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Malone serves as the PCCM Fellowship Associate Program Director, PICU Resident Rotation Director, PICU Simulation Director, and is the Associate Medical Director and Education Director of the ECMO Program at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. He is also involved nationally with ELSO’s Education Committee.
