Marissa Boggs provides care for adult and geriatric patients with acute and chronic diabetic and endocrine conditions. She provides evidence-based care using a patient-focused approach. Her aim is to help patients who have type 1 and 2 diabetes and other endocrine problems achieve their goals.
Boggs worked at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in diabetes and endocrinology before joining UAMS Health in 2021.

Marissa Boggs,APRN, is very knowledgeable & will explore different treatment options making the patient fell confident there's a provider who listens &cares about her patient's overall health! She helped me with getting diabetic medication from a pharmaceutical company's patient assistance program which significantly controlled my Blood Glucose Levels and lowered my A1C to a level I've never experienced! Marissa Boggs make referrals to providers to coordinate my care & overall health care needs. I am grateful to have Marissa Boggs as my provider!!

The Provider was attentive, thorough, knew my medical history, provided, coordinated care, looked at my lab results, & developed a treatment plan to gradually take me off insulin, if possible, referred me to renal specialist as a proactive approach to treatment & provided me with an alternative diabetic medication which is very effective! I am grateful to this Provider!

I think Marissa Boggs is the most wonderful nurse practitioner in endocrinology that I've ever had. And I had diabetes for 35 years, and I have recently recommended her to other diabetics who are seen a different provider, but are not happy with them. Thank you Marissa for all you do.

it was my first time at a UAMS clinic and i saw Melissa Boggs with the endocrine clinic. prior to this, i was at baptist health and i hated it. melissa listened to every problem i have been experiencing and was able to break down previous lab results and explain what they meant. we came up with a goal and i am now working to meet it. she was extremely helpful, and informative. i will be back with her for sure!
