About Dr. Wright

Clinical Biography

Dr. Larry D. Wright is associate director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Northwest Regional Campus of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He is also the medical director at the UAMS Butterfield Trail Village Clinic. Wright previously was the medical director at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He also served for 19 years as the first executive director of the UAMS Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education in Springdale. He served as faculty of the UAMS Department of Geriatrics within the College of Medicine from 1999 until 2015.

    I felt it was a thorough examination. I saw the resident doctor first for most of the exam. Then Dr. Wright came in, looked at the responses and ques-tions that were asked and spoke with me about continuing medicine.
