Lakshmi Menon, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, in the Division of Endocrinology. She received her medical degree from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in 2013. Dr. Menon came to UAMS for her residency in internal medicine in 2014-2017, followed by a fellowship in endocrinology.

Dr. Menon is phenomenal. Well informed, obviously had looked through my file before I came in, which I was ecstatic over. She didn't talk down to me, she heard and answered my concerns, and obviously had experience in my specific disorder which is very rare. I am thrilled with her after my first visit and finally feel some optimism.

My husband has dementia, but the personnel still asked questions and allowed him to answer when he could. The doctor was thorough, took time to answer questions, and give explanations. All personnel seemed eager to answer questions and make life simple for us. [.....] I was happy! [.....] We had a good day!
