About Dr. Caceres
Clinical Biography
Jose Diego Caceres, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. After obtaining his medical degree at Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena (Unphu), Dominican Republic, Dr. Caceres completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Jacobi Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York. He then completed a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, followed by an Intervention Pulmonary Fellowship at UAMS. He joined UAMS faculty in July 2019.

Dr Caceres is charming. I look forward to my appointments with him. When I message him he gets right back to me. UAMS is fortunate to have such a great doctor. Actually all the doctors and nurses at UAMS are amazing.

Unfamiliar with my health record. Unprepared for my visit but listened to my history as I have it, my concerns and responded to my questions. It was concerning that he do not appear to have any familiarity of my health condition prior to entering the exam room. It was the same way the first time I saw him.

there was a nice lady who did my bloodpressure and vitals she was bright and cheery that was an added plus. They did not however schedule my CT scan which concerns me it was forgotten.
