About Dr. Roberts
Clinical Biography
Dr. Jessiela Roberts is a native of the island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where she completed medical school at Trinity School of Medicine. She is a board certified Family Medicine practitioner and completed her residency training at the UAMS Family Medicine Program in Fort Smith. She went on to complete a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at UAMS Hospice and Palliative program in Little Rock. Dr Roberts currently serves the UAMS West Campus in the role of Assistant Professor.
She has clinical experience as an Associate Medical Director of Mercy Hospice and Palliative Care and served as a clinical preceptor for the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr Roberts is the Founder and Medical Director of Palliative Health Solutions.
She enjoys teaching and inspiring medical students and residents. She is also passionate about providing good quality, compassionate comprehensive patient care.
She is married with two adorable children. She loves giving hugs and inspiring joy in those around her.

My appointment was at 1:50. I was not seen my the provider until after 3.when seen by the provider(s) I felt rushed and not really listened to. They did not have my complete medical records (due to my past provider sending them) but did not request bloodwork to be done, did not answer most of my questions and did not take my worries seriously. I just felt not seen. I have a recheck next week with a different provider, which I'm hoping he cares a tad more than the last two providers.

I had lab work completed, I have asked for explanation of results. The nurse called but couldn't explain my concerns and I still haven't heard back. I will be choosing a new health care provider asap. I do not go to the Dr often and feel it shouldn't be so hard to have questions answered. I have been going to your clinic since 1992 but my last 2 visits have been very unsettling.

The nurse was supposed to provide me with a phone number for transportation and did not. The nurse was also supposed to provide me with advance directive/will information papers and did not do so. The doctor was supposed to have me to draw blood because the last time I saw her my iron was low and something else was low. She did not even remember that I was supposed to have my blood drawn at my wellness appointment. When I asked her about having my blood drawn for a different issue she said I didn't need it. I was so upset and disappointed with this appointment that I really wanted to file a formal complaint. I did not like the way that I was treated at this appointment. The nurse said that this doctor is graduating soon. I certainly hope that she treats her future patients better than she treated me.
